Rudder Pin Bush - Long

Description

Lower Stock Rudder Pin Bush - Long.

2 bushes are fitted to the lower stock, one short, one long.

To fit;

- You need to make sure that the old bush is fully removed and that the stock is clean.

- Using a file put a very small chamfer around the end of the bush that you will be inserting into the stock.

- It is best to push the bush in using a vice, slowly pushing it in whilst slightly 'wobbling' the stock.

- Try the rudder pin into the bush, you may need to run an 8.1mm drill through it, ensuring that you drill in line with the other bush.

- The pin should now fit ok, it is worth spraying the pin and bushes with a lubricant spray such as Pro-Lube to make inserting the rudder pin easier.

Rudder Spring Cup

Rudder spring cup, this keeps the spring in place and fits above the grub screw, which is used to adjust the cam tension.

These are 16mm in diameter, which is the standard size on the Buzz, ISO, Spice and Boss. Some Rudder Stocks have a larger spring cup (17mm), we do have some of these versions available should you need one.

Rudder/ Tiller Lock Pin

Description

Lock pin used to lock the tiller / top stock to the lower stock.

Fits through the top stock and rudder cam.

This version of the pin is Stainless Steel with a welded ring to assist fitting/ removing.

A split pin can be used as a less expensive option.

Note - if drilling the hole through the top stock and cam it is advisable to drill from each side of the top stock to allow for any mis-alignment when drilling. Also make sure you have the rudder set up exactly as you want it before drilling the cam.
